Understanding donation claim statuses
Donation claim status controls whether a donation is ready for Gift Aid, excluded from Gift Aid or needs review before claim preparation.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Unclaimed | The donation has not yet been included in a claim and may be available for preparation. |
| Scheduled | The donation has been included in a prepared claim. |
| Failed | The donation did not pass validation for that prepare run. |
| Non-Gift Aidable | The donation should not be claimed. |
| Unknown | The record needs review before it can be trusted for claiming. |
When to review status
- After importing donations.
- Before preparing a claim.
- After declaration changes.
- When validation highlights an issue.
